We are very pleased to report that a week-long expedition to visit up more than a dozen college campuses will be made available to Besant Hill juniors and sophomores during the second week of next year’s spring recess, designed, orchestrated, and led by Jessie Brumfiel, Director of College Counseling. The region we will travel to will largely be determined by the interest of those who sign up, but most likely it will be to either the Pacific Northwest, New England, or California’s Southland region. Each day of the tour, students will embark on at least two formal campus tours guided by current college students and attend two formal information sessions led by college admissions counselors. In addition, since all of these regions are fairly densely populated with undergraduate institutions, there will be the added opportunity to conduct drive-through tours of as many as two additional campuses each day, either around midday or en route to our next destination in the mid-to-late afternoon. Students will be escorted from campus to campus in large passenger vans and overnight accommodations will be either double or triple occupancy in local college town hotels.
